Applications:
Corrosive
and abrasive liquids as well as slurries. Pumps almost anything
that pours. The pump is self-priming and can even run dry without
damage. Pump operates on compressed air from 3 to 7 .
Capacity variable according to pressure and quantity of supply
of air. Ideal for flame proof, explosion proof environments.
Can also be used as submersible pump with extended lines for
Air and Exhaust.

Materials
of construction:
Non-wetted central actuator is made of cast aluminium. It is
common for both sizes of 1 and 2 (nominal bore sizes
of inlet and outlet connections) and models. End connections
are supplied as flange end, BSP male thread or nipple according
to materials of construction. Non-metallic bodies are of solid
block fabricated construction. Various combinations can be offered
according to the liquid to be handled. Easy and fast maintenance.

Valves can be supplied in hypalon & EDPM also, if required.
Discharge and Suction are 1 bore (25 mm) and 11/4 bore PVC
or synthetic rubber hose, which can be slipped on and secured by
clips.
Capacity: Approximately 15 ltrs. at 100 strokes per minute.
Can deliver upto 10 ft. of water column.
Optional Accessories: Trolley to fit the pump to make it
easily portable. Motor Drive: The pump can easily be converted into
motor driven pump with a ½ HP geared motor having 100RPM
output speed approximately. Suitable base can be supplied to mount
the motor and coupling it directly to the pump.

SLEEK has a whole new range of barrel pumps meeting
stringent safety demands. For th first time in India, SLEEK
pumps incorporate high efficiency FLAMEPROOF (Ex) Electric Motor
approved by CMRS for operation in flammable / explosive gas atmospheres
for Groups I, II-A, and II-B as per IS: 2148, 1981 and IS: 2147,
1962 (flame proof and weather proof).
A) Stainless Steel Type SS-316:
Inner and outer pipes are of seamless type made of SS-316. All
contact parts are made from SS-316 investment castings. The drive
shaft is made of SS-316 bright bar. Impeller s made of TEFZEL /
SS-316. The shaft sleeve and lip seal are made of Teflon.

a)
CMRS approved flameproof and weatherproof electric motor.

non-flameproof, single phase, 230 volts, 50 HZ, 15,000 RPM,
0.7 HP, AC/DC Type Universal Electric Motor.

Outer and inner pipes and all wetted parts are made of polypropylene.
The shaft is made of HastealloyB-2 for highly corrosive liquids.
The impller is made of TEFZL. The shaft sleeve is of PTFE.

air operated, flame proof. Glandless, No leakage. Self priming,
can run dry without liquid indefinitely. Simple design, only
one moving art, no maintenance. Stress-free, long life. PTFE
membrane diaphragm. Controllable capacity 0 to 2 ltrs. per
minute. Vertical head upto 20 mtrs. Suction lift upto 2 mtrs.
Portable, wt. 4 kg. No foundation required. Supplied with
suitable suction and delivery tubing in ready-to-use form.
Operates on 1 HP compressor or plant air of 30 to 150 psi
(2 to 10 ).
Can suck out to the last drop from the barrel, good for costly
liquids. Can also find innovative applications.

and other aromatics. Aniline and other amines. Furfural and
other heterocyclics, Chlorinated and halogenated solvents,
terpene, perfumes and allied chemicals, inks, varnishes and
thinners. Cyclohexane and other alicyclics, Hydrazine, Phenol
and Cresol. Pesticides, Hexane and other aliphatics, Glycols,
Plasticisers, Ethyl acetate, VAM etc.
In polypropylene:
Acids, Alkalis, PC13, Hypochorites, Chromates, Salt Solutions,
Water Treatment Chemicals, photographic Chemicals etc.
Construction:
The pump consists of two sides, Air Side and Liquid Side.
These sides are divided by a thin flexible PTFE diaphragm.
On Air Side lies air chamber, venturi, central rod with poppet
valve and exhaust port.
On Liquid Side are liquid chamber, suction and delivery ball
check valves with hose nipples. All of these are in PTFE /
SS 316 / PP. Check valves are in PTFE in all three MOC. |
